Do You Remember All Our Stupid Dreams...

Do you know what the problem is in having a favorite band?
There are times you totally forget about other bands which used to mean so much to you because of the link between a certain time in your life and their music. But one day something reminds you of this band and you ask yourself why you forgot about them.

The thing which reminded me of 'Stereophonics' today was their upcoming Germany Tour in September.

I did not hear their music for more than half a year.
What was I doing without 'Dakota', 'Pedal Pusher', 'Rewind', 'Madame Helga' and 'Maybe Tomorrow'?
They were MY band in 2005. Everything what happened that year is somehow connected to this band. I met Laura. And their show in Cologne was the very first concert we attended together. They were the first band we met. So much has changed since then.

I'm tired but I want to listen to them right now.
There are so much memories.
I did not even miss this band and Kelly Jones' voice. I'm so stupid.

As soon as I am at Laura's on Saturday we'll do a 'Stereophonics'-Revival, we'll get wasted, terribly wasted, we'll listen to all these great bands and, I already told Anisha, my aim is to lie on the floor by the end of the night: drunk, crying, a cigarette in my hand and listening to 'Well Worn Hand' by 'Editors. It's gonna be so great. Even if it doesn't sound like that for some of you.

The title of this blog is a lyric out of "Rainbows And Pots Of Gold'. I love this song, especially its lyrics.

Sorry, about the English but I spent the whole day writing for the next issue of the zine and somehow German is annoying.
